Leaflet Distribution

Leaflet distribution, if done properly is one of the most effective ways of marketing your business and getting your name into the hands of potential new customers.

In the past, newspapers would have been the most common outlet for printed media and localised marketing. However with most publications' circulation numbers falling through the floor, Newspapers therefore no longer provide the best solution to many companies' marketing strategies.

For example, the newspaper covering Coventry where our Head Office is based, has seen its circulation figures fall from around 75,000 to 17,500 over the last 20 years or so. This sort of fall is not un-typical of all regional press & national newspapers are themselves struggling with similar issues.

Local 'free papers' again suffering with decreasing advertising revenues have long attempted to bolster earnings by carrying leaflets within their pages, whilst on the surface this may appear to provide economical distribution of an advertisers direct marketing material, in reality free papers can be largely ineffective for a number of reasons, such as;

Many free papers will accept far too many leaflets to be included in a single issue, which can often annoy the recipient if 8 or 9 leaflets come spilling out onto their hallway floor when picking up the newspaper.

Another problem with placing leaflets inside a newspaper, is that recipients may never intend to even read the paper and simply throw it straight into the recycling bin, leaving your leaflet never having seen the light of day.

And thirdly, even if the recipient does intend to open the free paper and read it, any marketing material would be considered of secondary importance and therefore achieving a much smaller impact than if it was delivered as part of a leaflet only distribution campaign.

With Defenda Leaflet Distribution, you can design and conduct targeted leaflet distribution campaigns to areas completely of your choosing along with accurate property counts and various demographic information so that you can ensure your leaflets are going to the right people at the right times.
